August 29 Update

The new AC unit now hangs on the ceiling in the wrestling room and accompanying ductwork is in place to feed condition air in the space while new LED lighting has been installed throughout the wrestling room. The final electrical and mechanical connections have been made to the rooftop AC units, which are now officially up and running.




August 18 Update

A new electrical panel has been installed in conjunction with the auditorium’s new air conditioning system. The steel dunnage legs as well as the AC ductwork stands have been permanently flashed in with the new roofing. Three new fresh air returns have been installed in the auditorium, one behind the stage and two on the ceiling.

 


August 14 Update

The new tennis courts have been painted and stripped and new nets have been installed. The conduits now run from the rooftop down to the main panel in the basement to feed power to the new rooftop AC units. New circular HVAC supply diffusers are being installed in the auditorium ceiling and the new rooftop AC units are being rigged onto the auditorium roof and set on the new steel dunnage.





August 7 Update

The fencing and gates have been installed around the new tennis courts, which have been painted with the exception of the final striping. The steel dunnage has been installed on the auditorium roof in preparation for the new rooftop AC units. A portion of the parking lot east of the tennis courts has been excavated to install new drainage pools, which will receive rainwater runoff from the tennis courts.





July 31 Update

Post-abatement air testing has been completed, which yielded 100% clean results. The VCT flooring and vinyl base has been completed in the abated classrooms. A structural steel was lifted onto the auditorium roof to provide a structural platform to set the new rooftop AC units on. Structural blocking has been installed for the proper mounting of the HVAC roof curbs on the auditorium. A new egress door for the nurse’s office has been hung and detailed.




July 21 Update

The tennis courts have been paved, a secondary means of egress doorway has been installed in the nurse’s office and the installation of VCT flooring has commenced.



July 14 Update

The tennis court construction continues and the installation of the new smoke detectors throughout the auditorium has commenced. The rooftop ductwork continues to be prepared for the installation of the AC unit. Additionally, negative air units set for VAT abatement in the second flood classrooms and the testing equipment units were assembled.




July 7 Update

Rooftop ductwork installation continues, the auditorium ceiling has been cut to receive new AC diffusers and a new concrete curb at the tennis court has been poured.





June 30 Update

The district started work on the tennis court demolition, including the removal of the fencing and asphalt paving. Additionally, the district began preparing the site for air conditioning installation in the auditorium and has put protective covering over the seats and RTU duct work on the roof.
